UNDERGRADUATE EDUCATION IN UCSD BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES

At all levels, UCSD Biological Sciences continues to attract the best and brightest students into its educational programs. In 2005-06 we welcomed our largest number of biology majors--4,129. Approximately 20 percent of UCSD undergraduates are biology majors. Human Biology, one of nine areas of concentration in biology, was added to the curriculum in 2004-05 and is the fastest growing major on campus.
